The Grill in Lone Pine

Absolutely a spot worth stopping over, the food is good and fresh, the prices are convenient and it is regularly well organized there. Great work.

Food was good. Service was outstanding. Bobby was a server that I’d have sworn was the owner. He was as engaging as he was helpful. All the staff was superb. Will definitely make this our regular stop when passing through.

Had breakfast. They forgot my friends order. The food was OK. Premade sausage patties. Eggs over cooked. Hash browns under cooked. Coffee was good. Wait staff friendly but inexperienced. I would try it again.

Subpar Food. Edible. Will do if you're hungry. Cheese was barely melted, fries were a bit stale and we asked for the burgers to be cooked medium but they were well cooked.

Passing through Lone Pine, we stopped at The Grill for breakfast. I had dined there often in past years. Now, it's under a new owner and it has a slightly different feel, possibly more modern. The restaurant is clean and the service was warm and pleasant.I had pancakes with eggs and was completely satisfied.

Great freshly cooked to order food, wonderfully welcoming service in an extremely clean and comfortable safe environment. An easy 4.5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended!!!

Came here for a late dinner after visiting Death Valley and it was so pleasant! The host was extremely friendly and attentive, the service was impeccable. We ordered the soup of the day, a blue cheese cobb salad and a bolognese pasta and they were both very delicious. Portions are quite generous but we managed to finish everything cause we couldn’t resist. Thank you for the great evening and for the fun conversation.

What a great diner. Nice patio seating with plenty of tables. The staff was exceptional and just plain friendly. Both breakfast and lunch/dinner menus with a wide variety of choices. Burgers for lunch were large and delicious. They also have nice coffee/espresso options.

Tasty breakfast menu and pleasant service with a view of snow-called mountains out the front window. Recommend the chorizo omelet, a generous serving.

This restaurant was disappointing in every way. The grilled chicken dinner was over cooked and dry. The inside restaurant was filled with flies and my husband found a plastic tie in his cole slaw. The waitress apologized for the plastic tie in the food, but nothing more. I couldn't even finish my dinner. It's overpriced, so don't waste your money. There are better places in town.

After bailing on a place down the street after 10 minutes of no acknowledgment we walked a few blocks down the street to The Grill. Immediately greeted and seated. Waitress and hostess both very friendly. Food was excellent... better the expected. Hot and freshly prepared. Recommended.

Decent restaurant.The staff is friendly.Me and my girlfriend order a full rack of back ribs.The portion is huge, we can’t even finish half. We need up to pack the other half for our dinner.

For those discussing the merits of their pricing here, there is a world-famous place for 'food' across the street.A slightly more upscale place in a town like Lone Pine? Pretty nice; they're catering to the pass-thru traffic, I'm sure.Would I come back? Yes, not with a large group, however.

We had an excellent experience at the Grill. Bobby was super friendly and made us feel like we had been going there for years! Our portions of food were massive- the half rack of ribs were enormous and my spaghetti was enough for a weeks worth of leftovers! Food, ambience, and service was excellent and we couldn’t have been more satisfied.

You can dine outside and the service was Covid responsible, food was delicious and tasted fresh. Highly recommend the avocado burger, see you next time Grill.

Open to sit down dinning... Finally

Pretty standard fare, but at a higher cost that most other standard fare places. Not terrible but also not mouth watering. The most memorable item on the menu was the cost of things. If you're gonna charge that much, buy some salt and pepper and maybe some other spices to cook the food with. However, the server was great. Bravo on that.

We went here for breakfast on fourth of July weekend, and even giving them some slack for the especially busy weekend service would still be considered slow and splitting up the check between two people caused a much bigger deal than it needed to be. That being said my steak and eggs were delicious and the perfect breakfast before a hike in the Eastern Sierras. My friend had the pancakes and said they were mediocre but that the biscuits were good.

Amazing breakfast that was cooked perfectly, fast and friendly service, and the whole place was spotless clean. Best pancakes I’ve had in town!
